McConnell Marketing Participates in Clean the World’s ONE Project

The team at McConnell Marketing had the opportunity to participate in the ONE Project—a project started by Clean the World Foundation, Inc., that provides hygiene products to people in the community who are struggling to meet their family’s basic needs.

Clean the World, whose home is in Orlando, shipped all of the products required for each individual hygiene kit to the McConnell Marketing office in Canfield, Ohio. Each team member was then assigned to a station to assemble hygiene kits for the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley and Hurricane Sandy victims.

Katie Williams took the lead role in the development of the project within the office said, “I think Clean the World is awesome. Taking a product, that would have been thrown away, and recycling it for the greater good truly warms my heart.”

Clean the World Wraps Up Successful Fundraising Campaign

The team at McConnell Marketing would like to congratulate everyone at Clean the World for completing—and succeeding—their first RocketHub crowd-funding campaign! We couldn’t be for happy about the results. Contributions from supporters totaled $12,034 toward four machines that will allow Clean the World to make soap at a faster production rate.

“RocketHub’s Brian Meece says the average crowd-funding campaign raises $4,800,” Clean the World’s co-founder CEO, Shawn Seipler said. “We brought in nearly 3x that amount, which is a fantastic blessing and a holiday gift to the Global Hygiene Revolution.”

Along with raising money for the new soap machines, another benefit to this campaign is that thousands of hygiene kits were delivered to Hurricane Sandy victims in the Northeast.
